Meet Lola:
Lola’s "Shelter Break" Report! Hi everyone! My name is Lola, and I’m currently on a special "shelter break" with a temporary foster family. I’m staying with a great foster Auntie and Uncle for the week so they can learn all my secrets before the big adoption event this Sunday! I’m a 6-year-old, 53lb bundle of love, and here is what my temporary family has discovered: I’m a Total Athlete: If you’re a hiker or a jogger, I’m your girl! While I can pull a bit on the leash, my foster family says it's nothing unusual and I'm actually better than some others who have stayed here because I'm so easily redirected. Plus, if you're moving fast enough, you might not even notice a pull! The Local Wildlife: I’m very curious about the world! I love watching birds, and I even did a playful little pounce at a squirrel while out on a walk. I'm not sure if I want to chase them or just play with them, but I definitely find them exciting! I Love "Taggle": That’s my foster family’s word for tug-of-war! I also have a serious crush on a squeaky stuffed raccoon. I’m a People-Person: I’ve never met a stranger. I want to say "hello" to every single person we pass on our walks. Working on My Manners: I’m housebroken and kennel-trained! To help slow down my "foodie" habits, the Auntie in my temporary home has begun feeding me in a slow feeder. She’s even teaching me to sit politely and wait while she places my bowl down. The Perfect Roomie: While I won’t be meeting my foster family's dogs (I’m not here long enough for that!), they’ve been told I prefer "gentle and dainty" playmates. But honestly? I am also more than happy to be your one-and-only and soak up all the attention for myself! I’m currently looking for my forever home or a permanent foster.

If you are looking for a happy, goofy, and loyal companion, Cameron is your girl! This sweet pup is a dream in the home—she is fully housebroken, crate trained, and even enjoys sleeping in on the weekends. She is a smart learner who knows her basic commands and truly thrives on pleasing her humans. While Cameron is a total pro at bath time and "harvesting" her own cucumbers from the garden, she is still learning how to navigate the world outside. She has some areas she is currently working on, particularly when it comes to meeting new people and passing other dogs on walks. We believe that with a dog-savvy owner or a little professional guidance, this gem of a girl will continue to blossom into the perfect companion. If you have a heart for training and want a veggie-loving, Animal Planet-watching best friend to snuggle with, Cameron is ready to meet you!
